The Pennsylvania County Species List is an application developed by the Pennsylvania Herpetological Education Project as an educational tool to bring awareness to the reptiles and amphibians in the Commonwealth counties.

Search by County - Searching by county brings up the list of all counties in Pennsylvania. When a county is selected you are taken to that county's species list. This is a list of species that have been documented or had historic occurrence in that county.

Search by Species - Searching by species gives you a list of all species that may be found within Pennsylvania. On selecting a species you are taken to the species page where you will see a list of counties this species has been documented in or has a historic status. A link is also provided to take you to the PA HERP Identification site on that species so you can learn more on identifying that species.
